Odessa Police had their hands full as severe weather pushed through the Permian Basin last night.
While Odessa received a heavy dose of thunderstorms, high winds and even some hail, surrounding areas also had reports of tornadoes.
OPD officials say officers responded to 55 alarms calls and 32 crashes on Monday.
Additionally, officers noted eight intersections with lights out, a traffic hazard where a tree had fallen in the road and damage to a railroad crossing arm.
Police officials say there were also several power outages and one high water rescue.
