One man has been arrested after he reportedly admitted to shooting at his father.
Around 8:30 p.m. June 3, Odessa Police were called to the area of Catalina and 23rd Street about a shots fired call.
When officers arrived they spoke with a man who said he had gotten into an argument with his son, later identified as Michael Guzman, according to a release from the OPD.
Following the argument, Guzman reportedly struck his father with a handgun and shot at him, but missed.
Officers later located Guzman at the Westwood Apartments where he admitted to shooting at his father’s vehicle, according to the release.
Police arrested Guzman charging him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
