PECOS COUNTY, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) The Pecos County Sheriff’s Office has charged two men in connection with a gasoline and tool theft that took place last month.

Officials say back on May 19, deputies were called to a local ranch about the theft.

While investigating, deputies learned that the suspects took ranching and farming equipment, diesel and unleaded gasoline and various tools, according to a release.

Deputies estimate the value of the items at more than $50,000.

A few days later, the items were located and returned to the ranch owners, officials say.

Warrants have since been issued for Christopher James Duforant and Joshua Greathouse in connection with the case.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pecos County Sheriff’s Office at 432-336-3521.
