Pecos County deputies have arrested one man after he was reportedly found with drugs during a traffic stop.

Officials say deputies were patrolling Highway 285 and conducted a stop on a vehicle, identifying the driver as 32-year-old Carlos Mendoza, of Ozona.

While searching Mendoza’s vehicle, deputies discovered about 148 grams of methamphetamine and a small amount of cocaine, according to a release.

Deputies say they also found items used to sell and distribute the drugs.

Mendoza has since been arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance.
