OPD officer struck by vehicle released from hospital

ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – The Odessa Police Officer hit by a vehicle last week is improving. 

Police officials said Tuesday that Cpl. Teddy Yelley has been released from the hospital after he was hit by another officer last week. 

Cpl. Yelley was investigating when he noticed a vehicle reportedly taken during a home invasion last week. 

Police say Cpl. Yelley was later struck by another OPD officer who was called to the scene.
