ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – The Odessa Police officer, injured in the mass shooting over the weekend is expected to be released today, according to the OPD.
Cpl. James Santana’s injuries were not specifically listed, but information from a GoFundMe page states he would require surgery to remove bullet fragments.
His donation page reached more than $10,000 since it was posted over the weekend.
Cpl. Santana is one of more than 20 people who were injured in the shootings on Saturday and one of three law enforcement officers.
