OPD investigating robbery case

The Odessa Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred back in October. 

Police officials say, back on Oct. 6, officers were called to the Super Wash, 3304 Andrews Highway, about the robbery. 

While investigating, officers learned that an employee left their phone, ID card, debit cards and $300 in cash on the countertop at the business. 

A woman then took the employee’s items and ran, according to a release from police. 

Employees chased after the suspect who is accused of swinging at them and hitting one in the face, police say.
