ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – The Odessa Police Department is investigating an auto burglary that occurred earlier this month.

Police officials say back on Sept. 6, officers were called to the 2700 block of 10th Street about the burglary.

While investigating, officers learned that a man had burglarized a Chevrolet Tahoe and attempted to burglarize several other cars in the area, according to a release.

In surveillance footage, a man can be seen checking doors on three trucks parked outside of a home. However, none of the vehicle doors opened and the suspect can be seen walking away from the area.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact the OPD at 432-333-3641 or the Odessa Crime Stoppers at 432-333-TIPS.
