OPD: Clerk stabbed during weekend robberies


ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – The Odessa Police Department is investigating following an armed robbery that took place over the weekend. Police officials say the investigation began around 9:07 p.m. Sunday when officers were called to the 7-Eleven at 10th and Dixie Boulevard.

While investigating, officers learned two men took items from the store and assaulted the clerk, according to a release.

About an hour later, police say the suspects returned to the store and stabbed the clerk in the arm before taking merchandise.

The suspects then drove away in a blue 4-door sedan that was being driven by a woman, according to a release. Police say no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
