The Odessa Police Department has made six arrests in various shooting investigations and robberies that took place over the past few months.
Officials say between January and May, detectives began investigating “a series” of deadly conduct and aggravated assault cases that were reported throughout the city. Police also say the suspects are believed to be involved in four aggravated robbery cases.
Detectives later learned that several suspects had split into groups and were challenging each other, according to a release.
Police officials say the suspects would perform drive-by shootings at one another’s homes.
After several interviews, police reportedly learned that there were conflicts between the groups and that members had shot at each other, flashed guns at each other and committed acts of violence.
In total, six suspects were arrested. They include:
- Ricardo Reyna
- Isayah Ramirez
- Viviana Gonzales
- Thomas Henderson
- Lionel Carrasco
- Damidrean Henderson
All have been charged with engaging in organized criminal activity.
Officials say there are also two other suspects at large in the case, Luis Aguirre and Isaiah Lara.
