ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24)- Police say a 16-year-old boy was pointing an airsoft gun at drivers in various locations in Odessa. Police say he was in a stolen blue car. When officers found him near Carriage House Apartments, he ran away. He lead police on a chase to the area of 57th and Kermit Avenue where he crashed into a fence.

A neighbor saw it all happen. “He was probably going 80 to 90 [mph] trying to make that turn. He was coming eastbound and tried to make that turn and he caught that gravel- when he caught that gravel he just flew up in there. I thought he went through the windshield but his airbags came off and he bolted out the door and took off behind that church there,” said Terry Parker.

The boy was caught and arrested. He was charged with two counts of Terroristic Threats, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Evading in a Motor Vehicle. Odessa Police say no one was hurt.
