Odessa Fire/Rescue is showing their support and bringing attention to Mental Health Awareness Month.

The department plans to show their support by hosting a moment of silence at the Central Fire Station this week.

During the moment of silence, crews will activate their emergency lights and have radio silence for one minute.

They will also host a candle lighting to remember loved ones and are encouraging the community to join them.

The moment of silence will take place from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Central Fire Station, 1100 W. 2nd Street.
