ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) An Odessa pathologist has been arrested and accused of uploading child pornography from his person computer earlier this year.

According to a probable cause affidavit, the investigation began back in March when a cyber tip was reported by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Investigators later learned that nine images of suspected child pornography had been uploaded from the same IP address.

A subpoena was later sent for information on the IP address, according to the affidavit.

Investigators learned the IP address belonged to Paul Coleman in Odessa, the affidavit reads.

In June, a warrant was issued for the search of Coleman’s home.

On Monday, DPS officials, along with Homeland Security Investigation special agents, responded to Coleman’s home and discovered he had a ledger near his computer, which had various search terms related to child pornography, according to the affidavit.

Investigators then spoke to Coleman and asked if he intentionally searched for child pornography. The affidavit stats that Coleman did not want to answer.

Coleman is also told investigators that he didn’t feel like he had done anything wrong as long as he did not hurt a child.

He has since been arrested and charged with possession or promotion of child pornography.
