Odessa Police have released new information regarding an armed robbery that occurred early Monday morning.
Police officials say officers were called to the area of 23rd and Muskingum about an unknown problem.
When officers arrived, they located a 41-year-old man who said two Hispanic men had hit him in the face with a handgun and shot him in the leg, according to police officials.
The victim also reportedly told officers that the suspects made off with his car and fled the scene before officers arrived.
No arrests have been made in the investigation and police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 432-333-3641.
According to Odessa Police, a man was shot around 3 Monday morning near 23rd and Muskingum.
Officials confirm he was taken to Medical Center Hospital. No word on his condition.
Initial reports indicate the victim may have been shot in the groin area and his car may have been stolen.
