ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – The man accused of robbing a bank in Odessa Tuesday was located and arrested in Big Spring, according to officials with the Odessa Police Department.
Bobby Gracy Jr. was located and arrested in Big Spring Thursday by the FBI, the Big Spring Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The investigation began Tuesday when OPD officers were called to Security Bank, 4040 E. 42nd Street, about the robbery.
While investigating, officers and FBI agents learned that Gracy Jr. had entered the bank and handed a note to the teller demanding cash, according to a release. Gracy Jr. also reportedly stated that he had a gun.
He then walked out of the bank with an unknown amount of money police say. During the investigation, law enforcement were able to identify the suspect as Gracy Jr and obtained warrants for his arrest, police say.
Gracy Jr. has since been charged with robbery.
