The City of Midland would like to notify residents that if you’ve received a letter in the mail regarding the False Alarm Reduction Program, don’t be alarmed.

It’s not a scam, but for the city’s Code that requires an alarm user to obtain a permit for $20 for each residential location and $25 for each commercial location.

The permit must be renewed annually for $15 for residences and $20 for commercial locations.

Online registration is being made available by PM AM, a national company that provide alarm permitting software. PM AM will notify alarm users on an annual basis to renew their permits.
