Motorcycle crash victim improving

ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – A man involved in a motorcycle crash over the weekend is improving, according to an update from the Odessa Police Department.

Officials say the crash occurred Friday in the area of Grandview and Loop 338.

While investigating, officers learned that Andrews Reed Lewis was headed north in the 7600 block of Grandview when he lost control of his motorcycle and struck a barbed wire fence, according to the original release.

Lewis was taken to Medical Center Hospital with serious injuries and was later air-lifted to a Lubbock area hospital for treatment.

Police officials say Lewis is currently in stable condition.
