Police say Bars was found in possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia at the time of his arrest.

Bars has been charged with murder, and possession of cocaine.

The investigation began back on Jan. 1, 2013 when police were called to the 1000 block of Monahans about a shots fired call. When they arrived officers located a gunshot victim later identified as Irvin Terry, according to previous reports.
During the investigation police learned that Terry and a second man, D’Quay Harris had been shot in the 1900 block of Rochester, according to the OPD.
Harris survived the initial shooting but later died on Nov. 14 “as a result of complications sustained from the shooting,” police say.
On April 15, 2013 the OPD arrested and charged Richard Martin with aggravated assault, a second-degree-felony, in connection with the shooting however, the charges were dropped and a murder charge has been filed against Martin, according to the release.
