ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – A groping suspect seems to have reemerged in Odessa, as more cases have been reported to the Odessa Police Department.

Officials say from July 4 through Oct. 22, the department has received several complaints about the groping suspect. Police believe the suspect is targeting women who are alone at apartment complexes.

Additionally, police say the suspect will either surprise the victims, or he will claim to be looking for a dog, before he gropes the victims.

The suspect is described as a thin Hispanic man wearing a cap and a bandana covering his face. Police say he is between 5’6” and 5’9” tall.

OPD officials are also urging the community to always be aware of their surroundings.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the OPD at 432-335-4961 or the Odessa Crime Stoppers at 432-333-TIPS.
