MISD’s Riddick talks bond

News

MIDLAND, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – Midland ISD Superintendent Orlando Riddick stops by our studio this morning to talk about the bond in the November election.

The bond has been a hot topic in the community as some have come out in opposition to the ballot item.

As it will appear on the November ballot, it is a $569 million bond that calls for two new high schools and renovations to the existing Lee High School campus, among other improvements.

Riddick took the opportunity to clear up confusion and candidly spoke on the needs of the community and the district as it pertains to the bond election.
