Houston Elementary has been rated “Improvement Required” for two years in a row.
Now, Midland ISD is setting up a turnaround plan and they are asking for community input on what can be done to improve the school’s ratings.
Currently, district officials have a timeline established; which includes community and parents meetings, the dates in which a plan must be in place and submitted, as well as the implementation of a promotion campaign for the school.
However, the district wants parents and the community to get involved giving their voice and opinions.
Those interested in getting involved are asked to email firstname.lastname@example.org or participate in a survey which can be found here.
