A 14-year-old boy has been charged in connection with a stabbing investigation in Andrews that send two people to the hospital over the weekend.
On Saturday, Andrews Police officers were called to a disturbance in the 1000 block of NW 4th Street and learned there was a fight in progress, according to a release.
At the scene, officers reportedly found a 15-year-old and a 49-year-old with multiple stab wounds.
They were both transported to the hospital and were eventually treated and released, according to APD officials.
At the time of the stabbing, an off-duty APD officer was driving down the street and noticed two men chasing a third person and they forced him to the ground, a release from the department reads.
The third suspect, identified as a 14-year-old boy, was taken into custody and charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with the stabbing.
