Midland-Odessa FC Battled Injury and Illness in Wednesday Win


Midland Odessa FC’s top scorer battled food poisoning while two more players had to leave the match with injury in Wednesday’s 3-1 win over Dutch Lions FC.

According to head coach Matt Barnes, Defender Elliott Bentley had to leave the game with a cut near his eye that required stitches. Team Captain Andrew Moullin had to leave the game due to muscle cramps and top-scorer Jamie O’Grady had to leave the game with food poisoning.

Barnes said the entire bench played in the game. MOFC took a 2-0 lead just three minutes into the game.
