Former Midland High Bulldog and Kansas Track and Field athlete Bryce Hoppel has swept the Midwest Region track awards this year.

Today the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association named Hoppel the Midwest Region Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year. Hoppel was also named the Midwest Region Indoor Track Athlete of the Year earlier in the season.
