Midland High Names New Baseball Coach

Midland High has announced the hiring of a new baseball coach Tuesday.

Midland ISD has hired Jeremy Mueller as its new baseball coach. Mueller comes to the Tall City from Taylor ISD where he had an overall record of 106-45.

Mueller went to Stamford High School. He coached at Midland High as an assistant baseball coach from 2002-2006. He has also coached at Stamford, Early, River Road, Sanford-Fritch, Borger and Hamlin.

He will replace coach Barry Russell who coached the Bulldog baseball program for 22 seasons. Midland High had made the playoffs 20 straight seasons which was the longest streak in Texas.
