MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – Officials with Midland Health County will provide another coronavirus update Tuesday morning.
The update will come as cases are back on the rise, along with hospitalizations.
MH CEO Russell Meyers called it ‘a critical time’ for the community and said the uptick is potentially worse than it was over the summer due to the regional numbers and spread.
Since the rise, Midland memorial Hospital says they are constantly evaluating their elective procedures and have decided to limit visitation at the hospital.
City, County, and health leaders are urging the community to wear a mask, avoid large gatherings, and to practice social distancing.
Currently there are 5,211 COVID-19 cases in Midland County with 92 virus-related deaths.
