Midland fugitive arrested in Brewster County, new charges filed

BREWSTER COUNTY, Texas (Nexstar)- Brewster County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Vincent Leshaun Pitts early Sunday after a traffic stop.

During the traffic stop, deputies also found two illegal migrants. 

Pitts was wanted out of Midland County on two warrants for delivery of a controlled substance and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Additionally, he has been charged with human smuggling. 

The two illegal migrants have been turned over to Border Patrol agents for processing and deportation.
