Midland County to close mass vaccination site Friday

MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas (Nexstar)- The Midland County Horseshoe Backstage mass vaccination site will close Friday April 30.

The Unified Command team will continue to administer vaccinations at the mass vaccine site through Friday afternoon to anyone 16 or older. To schedule an appointment, call 432-221-4VAX. Walk-ins will also be accepted through the end of the week. 

Following the closure of the mass vaccination site, COVID-19 vaccines will be available throughout Midland at local grocery stores, pharmacies and physician offices.

The Unified Command Team has administered more than 94,000 vaccines through mass vaccinations efforts.
