Midland County Public Libraries to host summer reading kickoff event

MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas (Nexstar)- Midland County Public Libraries will kick off this summer’s TAILS & TALES reading program this Saturday with crafts, activities, stories and more. 

From 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. June 5 at 2503 W Loop 250 N, library staff will be available to help register families in the program to begin working toward end-of-summer prizes. 

The summer reading program encourages kids of all ages to get in the habit of reading daily.
