MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – The Midland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a suspect took a trailer filled with tools last month.
Officials say deputies were called to the theft back on April 23 in the 4000 block of Highway 349.
At the scene, the victim told deputies someone had cut his fence, hooked up to a homemade trailer and drove away with it, according to a release.
The victim told deputies the trailer had a welder, nitrogen and oxygen tanks as well as two tool boxes on it, officials say.
The suspect vehicle is described as a red single-cab pickup with a pole winch on the flat bed.
