MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – One man, charged in a 2015 shooting and fire that killed two, plead guilty in federal court this week.

Ryan David Green pleaded guilty to firearm and drug trafficking charges Wednesday, according to a release from the Department of Justice Friday.

Green and Sean Blake Jobe had been accused of shooting and killing one man and his girlfriend on July 2015 before setting their shed on fire, according to prior reports. Authorities say the shooting and fire stemmed from a drug dispute.

Officials say the victims were burned beyond recognition in the 2015 fire.

Jobe and a third man connected to the case, Trace Ryan Roland, also pleaded guilty to the same charges, according to the DOJ. All three will be sentenced on Oct. 10, 2019.
