Man accused of shooting at girlfriend’s car

ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – A man has been charged after Odessa Police say he fired at his girlfriend’s car on Thursday afternoon.

Police officials say the investigation began around 2:06 p.m. when officers were called to 35th and Muskingum about a shots fired call.

While investigating, officers learned that a disturbance occurred in the 3600 block of Eisenhower between Eric Rodriguez and his 19-year-old girlfriend.

Police say when the woman got into her car and drove away, Rodriguez fired multiple shots at her car.

No injuries were reported.

Rodriguez was later located in the 3200 block of Chestnut and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and deadly conduct.
