ODESSA, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – The West Odessa Volunteer Fire Department is asking drivers to avoid the intersection of West University and FM 1936.

All lanes of travel have been closed following a major crash, and the public is being advised to find alternate routes for the afternoon.

Witnesses at the scene are saying 3 trucks were involved in the accident.
