ODESSA, TX (Big 2/ Fox 24) – Halloween is finally here, and Downtown Odessa and Crossroads Church coming together to make the night memorable for West Texans by having the city’s big Halloween event called Night of Light.

Spooky surprises await residents in downtown Odessa at it’s annual Night of Light.

“I’m honored to be part of it,” says Manuel Diaz. “Odessa has been real good to us so you know we wanted to give back to the community and this is our third or fourth year going this with crossroads.”

At this year’s event you can expect inflatable rides, games, a live band, and even more rides– and of course, a ton of candy.

“It was 19 degrees when we got up this morning,” says Diaz. “Now it’s nice and pretty, hopefully we’ll get some sun and that way the kids can be out here trick or treating and have a good time.”

The event has been going on for decades, and this year the event will be held at the brand new Odessa Marriott Convention Center.
