MIDLAND, Texas (Big 2/ Fox 24) – Midland College will give a chance to those 50 years and older to go back to school and expand their learning skills at a low price.

This isn’t anything new, for the past 30 years, Midland College offered courses for people 50 years and older across West Texas.

“We just enjoy offering these courses,” says executive director, Rebecca Bell.

Bell says some volunteers enjoy making this opportunity happen for those older learners.

“All of the courses are taught by Midland College professors and other people in the community that does this on a volunteer basis they don’t get paid for teaching these courses.”

Each course meets two hours a week for four weeks.

For $25, one can take as many classes they want in a semester.

Classes will begin on September 23rd.
