Gala to benefit kids with special needs


Midland Children’s Rehabilitation Center hosted “Steers and Stars” Saturday. It only happens every other year and is the organization’s biggest fundraiser.

The rehabilitation center helps with many kinds of therapy for the children.

Like physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy … dyslexia tutoring and various other ansular therpaes for children who have special needs within the Permian Basin.

The gala helps MCRC offer completely free services to the families of the Permian Basin. They expect to rake in around $800,000.

We do not bill the families who come to our center for the therapy they recieve. it is fudned totally by doantions, the grants we right, other events we sponsor throughout the year.
