ALPINE, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – A woman was charged after Alpine Police reportedly found her with more than 33 grams of methamphetamine last week.

Police officials say they were serving an arrest warrant in the 900 block of East K and arrested Laurie Ann Kirchner.

Kirchner was wanted on charges of possession of a controlled substance and passing counterfeit bills, police say.

However, when Kirchner was arrested, police reportedly found her with 33.6 grams of methamphetamine.

She is now facing additional possession charges, according to APD.
