West Texas Food Bank distributing food Friday morning

Local News

ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/ Fox 24) — After a disappointing day at the Ector County Coliseum for many Odessans, Craig Stoker of the West Texas Food Bank wants to let those people know they have other options.

“We want to make sure anybody who lined up this morning knows that if they were unable to get food this morning they can come to the West Texas food bank.”

Craig Stoker, Communications Director for West Texans

The food bank also offers resources to people not in Odessa through other partnering agencies across the Permian Basin. On their website, under the How to Get Help tab, there are resources for the surrounding areas.

You’ve got opportunities throughout the week to visit any of our partners to get food. We just want everyone to know even though there were some unfortunate circumstances this morning you are more than welcome to come to get food from the food bank. That’s what we’re here to do that’s what we are here to help with.
