ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – Two new cases have been confirmed in Ector County, according to stats from the Health Department on Monday.
Stats show a woman in her 30’s and a man in his 40’s both tested positive for the Coronavirus. The source of their exposure is currently unknown. The total count is now 45.
Ector County also reported another death over the weekend. Thus far, three people have died as a result of the virus in Ector County. However, officials with the ECHD say one is not counted among their data because that patient was not a resident of Ector County.
Medical Center Hospital and Odessa Regional Medical Center will host a briefing Monday to provide an update on their response to COVID-19.
The briefing will begin at 3 p.m.
