Two new COVID-19 cases confirmed in Big Spring

BIG SPRING, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – Two new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Howard County, according to a release Thursday.

Officials say both of the patients, a 26-year-old woman and a 59-year-old woman, tested positive for the virus and are both are healthcare workers.

Both are believed to have contracted the virus by community spread.

The total case count in Big Spring is now eight.
