ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – Two new cases have been confirmed in Ector County, according to stats from the Health Department.
The total confirmed COVID-19 case count in Ector County is 64, and stats show three additional cases that are “probable”.
The County also launched a new COVID-19 dashboard Thursday that provides additional information for the public.
ECHD officials say the new dashboard includes, the confirmed cases, the epidemiological curve, contact tracing, Coronavirus deaths, testing numbers, and a breakdown of cases by age groups.
As of Thursday, County stats show 29 people have recovered from the virus and more than 1,100 people have been tested. 174 tests are still pending. The ECHD also notes 712 people have been contacted during their contact tracing efforts.
The ECHD, Medical Center Hospital, and Odessa Regional Medical Center have been hosting daily COVID-19 updates to get information to the public.
