Three new COVID-19 cases confirmed in Midland County

MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – Three new Coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Midland County, according to a release from the City of Midland Wednesday.

Officials say the first patient is a woman in her 80’s who is a resident at Mabee Health Care Center. She is currently self-isolating at the COVID-19 unit at Manor Park and her source of exposure is community-acquired, according to the release.

The second is a man in his 20’s who is currently self-isolating at home. City officials say the man is an employee at McCoy’s and his last day at work was June 8. His source of exposure was contact with a known case, according to the release.

The third new case is a man in his 70’s who is an employee at Ashton Medical Lodge. Officials say he is currently self-isolating at home and his last day of work was June 8. His source of exposure is community-acquired.

The total case count is now at 180 in Midland County.
