GOLDSMITH, Texas (Nexstar) – Three people are dead after a crash involving four vehicles on Wednesday morning.
The crash happened around 7:15 AM. Two pickup trucks, one SUV and a semi-truck were all involved in the crash.
According to DPS, Marlene A. Olivas of Odessa was driving south on FM 181 four miles north of Goldsmith in the SUV. She had a nine-month-old child in the car with her. According to the report, Olivas drifted into the northbound lane, sideswiped one of the pickups and the semi-truck and then hit the second pickup truck head-on.
Glenn Juarez, of El Paso, the driver of the second pickup truck, was killed in the crash. Olivas and the nine-month-old were pronounced dead at the scene as well, the report reads.
The people in the first pickup truck and the semi truck were not hurt in the crash.
