MONAHANS, Texas (Nexstar) –Three men were killed following a crash near Monahans Monday, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Troopers were called to the crash around 6:50 p.m. Monday afternoon on State Highway 18.
While investigating, troopers learned Joseph Hughes was headed south on Highway 18 at a high rate of speed when he left the roadway, skid, and collided with a building, according to a release.
Hughes and two passengers, Daniel Pickett of Graham and Casey McCall of Moanahans were all pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, troopers say.
