Three arrests made in attempted robbery case

ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – Odessa Police have made three arrests in connection with a robbery that occurred over the weekend at the Permian Basin Motor Sports & More.

Police say Chaviya Crosby along with two 16-year-old males have been charged with Aggravated Robbery.

The investigation began when OPD officers were called to 1413 West County Road about the robbery.

While investigating, officers learned that someone had been robbed while inside of a business and the suspects shot at the victim while they were driving away from the scene in a gray Jeep, according to a release.

There were no reports of any injuries.

Officers later located the Jeep in the 3700 block of Andrews Highway. The three suspects were located and taken into custody.

Crosby was transported to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center, and the two 16-year-olds were transported to the Ector County Youth Center, police say.
