Three arrested, charged with robbery in Kermit

KERMIT, Texas (Nexstar) – Three people have been arrested in connection with a robbery in Kermit.

Around 12:46 a.m. on Tuesday, Kermit Police responded to the 400 block of North Pine. Police say the suspects left the scene before they arrived.

Later police received a call about a burglary in the 200 block of Main.

Police say that Cris De La Cruz was identified and arrested after arriving on scene.

After a full investigation at both locations, police learned De La Cruz was also involved in the armed robbery on Pine.

Two additional robbery suspects were later identified as Manuel Chavez and Bethany Huddleston in connection to the robbery. Both were arrested on March 3 according to police.

All three suspects have been charged with aggravated robbery.
