Third COVID-19 related death reported in Ector County

ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – The third COVID-19 related death has been reported in Ector County.

Officials with Medical Center Hospital say a woman in her 30’s died on Sunday. This marks the third virus-related death in Ector County and the first at MCH

The first was reported back on April 7 and the second was reported last week. Although medical officials say the second patient that died was not an Ector County resident and isn’t reflected amongst county data.

Currently, there are 41 confirmed cases in Ector County. Below are stats from the Ector County Health Department.
