ECTOR COUNTY, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – A 17-year-old was killed following a crash north of Odessa Tuesday night, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Troopers were called to the crash around 8:28 p.m. Tuesday night in the area of Loop 338 and Yukon Road.
While investigating, troopers learned the driver of a Chevrolet pickup failed to yield at a stop sign at the intersection and was struck by a GMC Sierra, the release reads.
The driver of the Chevrolet pickup, Rayanne Severson, was taken to Medical Center Hospital and later pronounced dead by medical personnel, officials say.
