Suspects sought in armed robberies

BIG SPRING, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – Big Spring Police are searching for suspects in two robberies that were reported this week.

Police say the first robbery was reported around 3:15 a.m. Wednesday at a convenience store in the 1800 block of S. Gregg.

While investigating, officers learned that a man walked into the store and put a backpack on the counter before pulling out a gun and demanding money, according to the release.

Police say the man also demanded various nicotine products before leaving the store.

The second robbery occurred the next day at a local business in the 1700 block of S. Gregg.

While investigating officers learned two men entered the business and demanded money from an employee while holding a gun, police say.

The men were given a bag of money and left the store, according to the release.
