STANTON, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – Stanton ISD is taking precautions after an employee tested positive for Coronavirus.
Officials with the district say they were notified of the positive case late Wednesday night.
In reaction to the notification, the district announced Thursday they have suspended summer strength and condition camps today and Friday to determine the extent of the exposure to other staff members and students.
Additionally, officials say they are working to deep clean all buildings and equipment before they reopen.
